Many ideas about teaching art have been hammered out through trial and error over many years of art education. It is important for educators to explore various concepts and methods in order to develop a philosophy on how to teach and plan for maximum student development and success. My goal as an art educator is to consistently research, implement, and reinforce curriculum topics that make learning interesting and effective. My philosophy in art educator is to maintain a program where students learn to be independent critical thinkers and problem solvers. To provide effective teaching and learning, the students’ academic as well as emotional needs have to be considered. My classroom will have a comfortable, safe environment where everyone teaches and everyone learns.
I enjoy painting at my home studio. Paintings from 2015.
